will do it. I have tried it and it seemed to work, but I'm not an expert so I can't guarantee it. Here's the whole theory: you aren't supposed to disturb the mound, because then they will move, but place uncooked grits around it. Supposedly since the grits are bigger than the ants they will have to carry it down to their queen. The queen eats it, the grit expands in her and kills her, and the ants die because their queen is gone. We get tons of little red ants here, ugh. Don't know if it works the same for the black ones or not. but the ants are not go figure. As far as where they are coming it at i have no clue because they are everywhere!!!!
Kristy im gonna try your suggestion next time i get out and about i need something because its either that or burn the house down and i just got moved in so i dont want to do that lol
