Cathie 9|2|YVW Cathie.. like the other idea above about Milk Jug.. I think anything you can fit on a shepphard's hook (easier to access for watering) would work. |car_mont|car_mont@hotmail.com|07:24:44|04/15/2009|

I have two of them. They work great. The only thing is they are HEAVY if you are putting them on sheppards hooks, make sure you have a very sturdy one. I put mine on one last year, and it bent the hook over, I had to hang them on the side of my garage. I do not think that it filled out to it's full potential, but was very happy with the tomatoes I did grow. I also tried zucunni (sp) I did not have much luck with that.
I actually had to add soil about half way through the summer.

I can't afford to buy the ones off tv. The bucket ones will work great. And I can get the buckets for FREE.
Thanks for posting the web site.
Michelle 13|1|read that the roots have no place to go and get root rot|ladywcats|neal2856@sbcglobal.net|10:57:38|04/16/2009|
The tomato root is large and heavy so I would think you could ony put one or two plants in each planter. They would be great if you live near woods and have animals that like to feast in your garden. I have also looked at them and are they good year after year or do you have to buy them new each year?
Gloria
14|2|ladywcats,you could do this with cherry tomatoes, they come back every year.|HONEY11|HONEY1@AMERITECH.NET|15:08:20|04/16/2009|
