I guess I missedit when I ordered but if you use pp to pay and do not put the magazines you order even if for you in as a gift subscription they will automatically take money out of your pp to renew Also watch pp as when I filed a claim it automatically cancelled any agreements you may have had with the company in your files so when you go to check you don't see it but yet they tell you how to look it up so you CAN see that you have an agreement lol lol Magazines.com did refund my money without any problems 1|1|Crud! I just ordered a sub from them last week.....it doesnt start for several weeks, I'm gonna go cancel the order now....dont want the hassel.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|09:16:28|04/14/2009|

"Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy." 2|2|Joy this isn't the first time I ordered from them ( no problems in the past) but it was the first time with pp (M)|teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|09:34:14|04/14/2009|

How did you pay? If by cc I don't think you'll have a problem I was a lil miffed with pp that they cancelled the
agreement" before I had a chance to see it for myself I don't like when my way of checking things and backing myself up is taken away but for now all is fine unless I don't see the money back in a few days It's funny how they take it and get it in a day but it could take a week for me to get it back lol lol 3|3|I paid with PP too.....that's why I cancelled the order....yeah, isnt that funny how they get their money immediately but take that long to refund it? |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|09:48:56|04/14/2009|

I got stuck with additional charges on Dish Network. My "agreement term" had expired but because I didn't call them say I wasn't renewing within 30 days prior to the expiration date, they charged me an extra month.

I tried to fight it but that it was in the tiny, tiny, fine print.

I don't think that is a good way to do business.

Especially your cell phone bill! My son did one of those "free" online I.Q. tests & it asked for his cell phone # to text him the pin # to find out the test results. I got my cell phone bill just today & that stinking I.Q. thingy snuck in some stupid subscriptions for $9.99 apiece (there were 2 of them!) that's automatically renewed every month. I called my cell phone co. & they agreed to not only put a block on it so it can't happen again but they were also very nice & removed those 2 $9.99 charges.
I remember watching my son as he took the test & there was NOTHING on the site indicating there was going to be any charge/fee for anything!

I'm just going to tell him that anytime it asks for a phone # to text the pin #, even if it claims to be "free", don't do it at all. ;-p
