it is not a large peice just some of the sticky stuff left green gum in beige carpet i allready tried the ice trick twice

I think most stores would carry it. Works great to get out gum, tar, etc. on clothes, carpet, upholstery, etc. HTH. :)

5|1|Baby oil :) It will also break down the stickiness and you should be able to remove the solid pieces...then use a mild dish detergent and water solution to wash the area, blot really well.
