The house across the street has been empty for 2 years the guy who lived there just walked away from it hwen he and his df built a new house He walked away to screw over his ex any way lol It went up for auction and the neighbor two doors up was interested in buying it to rent At the time I thought how great it would be to have my son and his wife across the street but the neighbor passed on the house as they didn't have someone to rent to
The house is up for sale now at a great price and the neighbor is thinking again of buying it to rent but this time they called and asked if Mike and Marlena maybe interested in being the renters sooooo they have made an appointment to see it with us and the kids on Thurs and they'll see if it is feasable
So keep your fingers crossed that the numbers add up and it can be worked out How cool would that be to have that baby right across the street :) 1|1|crossing fingers for you!!! and your baby :)|lydzkydz|lydzmcss@yahoo.com|23:23:44|04/05/2009|

I'm sure the 8k would be a good paydown on it.... and it doesn't have to be paid back to Uncle Sam.

heehee Just kinda hoping SOMEONE I know will get to benefit from that tax credit!!!! :) 5|2|Thanks everyone I woke up this am with my toes crossed lol Amy I had a |teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|06:02:18|04/06/2009|

short talk with our realtor last night She said that she thinks Mike would have a rough time getting a mortgage as he hasn't been at this job long I told her that really it is the same sort of job "setting" up things and running wire and all that except one was indoors and this one is not
Now the tax credit thing she thinks that the $7500 one is a better deal then the $8000 even tho you pay back teh $7500 I didn't get it but she said she will bring info with her for th ekids They have seen a few starte homes for around $99,000 that they probally could work out but it's that nasty down payment thing lol I guess we have to wait and see Oh Marlena was asking about coming and seeing you are you winding down yet? lol 6|3|Good luck to your son and his family|couponshelmd|couponshel@comcast.net|08:17:00|04/06/2009|

Maybe the neighbor would even do a rent to own situation; it would still be a good investment for him. Especially when he realizes that your son and his family make great neighbors :)

keeping you in my thoughts!

awwwwwwww i sure hope things work out.. that would be great!!! Make sure you sway away any other
potential buyers....LOL 8|1|How odd.....I'm assuming they plan to be in it for 36 months??|Abbicca|Abbicca@bellsouth.net|10:13:53|04/06/2009|

Plus they could get the 8k by amending their 2008 return (don't have to wait till NEXT year to get it). The main sticking point is that they have to live there for 36 months--usually not a big deal for most first timers. If you sell after taking the 7500 one---you have to pay it all back in the year you sell (instead of 500 per year) anyway.

I'd love to know why the she thinks the 7500 one is the better deal. 11|2|Amy I'll ask her to explain it again to me she called last|teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|10:37:11|04/06/2009|
