I will be running some scans later but I went to my Temporary Internet Files folder and was shocked to see over 8000 items there. Most were GIF or JPEG items and some seem to be a continuous spam email I keep getting. If I delete them, what exactly am I deleting? Will I miss anything? Is this something I should be doing regularly? Am I deleting passwords? I always run virus scans but I'm always fearful of deleting "stuff" for fear it might be something I really need. If someone could explain what the content of this file is, I would greatly appreciate it.

a copy of every page that you've ever been to on the internet basiclaly.. and to delete them during scans etc or just every once ina while will be good , save space, and make the computer run faster.. you don't delete anything useful
