I'm sure this is going to be too funny! But I'm willing to try. I have the Borax, washing soda and Fels Naptha soap but I want a nice scent like oranges or lavender. I see many recipes online on how to make the laundry detergent but where do I get reasonable oils from and good ones. For all I know someone can mix anything together and I'm totally clueless. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! I'm just tired of paying crazy prices for laundry detergents....<P>Hugs,<P><BR>Carol

2|1|i have made mine for about past 4 months.......it works pretty good.....and it even smells good..|couponsnsamples|couponsnsamples@hotmail.com|20:43:20|03/28/2009|<center><font size="1" color="#000099" class="f_postedon">Posted on Mar-28-09 at 08:43 PM (Eastern) by 207.200.116.74</font></center><p>but after clothing drys..u cant smell the detergent.....so i would suggest just to use a good smelling dryer sheet.............only problem i have with the home made detergent..is that it is very low suds........so i added a bottle of dawn to it.....LOL...i was using more than it says to use per load ...just so i could get some suds........<BR>  all in all........even if u use more than called for........it is wayyyyyyyyyy less expensive than using store bought..........<BR>  funny part is when u grate the bar of fels..and melt in water......put in your 5 gal bucket...and let it set......it turns in gel......i mean just like jello.....lol.......but then u add water to fill the bucket and stir...also.....stir before each use.........
