My daughter Amy with her 8th grade class on a trip to Washington D.C. She took her digital camera to take lots of pictures, so when they got home last night she told me her pictures was all deleted some how. She did not delete them, and I ask her if someone had messed with her camera and she said no. We are both upset that they are gone. She said one of her friends was going to make a DVD and give it to her.
She had a good time though. They got to see alot of things and went on a dinner cruise one night. She said that she had a picture of the America's Most Wanted sign, and also a picture of her in jail. One of her frinds mom said that when her daughter called her one night, she told her that when they went to Arlington cemetary for a tour they were having a funeral service for a soldier.
I hope I can go to Washington C.D. someday. Well I have to go for now. Karen S.

Although I haven't had this problem, it was a recent topic of discussion when I took my camera in to a camera shop for another problem. You can recover most data that has been "deleted" on media because it is not really gone until it has been rewritten over. If you just deleted and did not continue to use the card, it is highly likely you can recover the data. They can do this at a camera shop. Check and see, although it might be expensive.
So sorry this happened to your daughter. I have "lost" pictures before and it is heart breaking.

and when I opened my camera the film had ripped as it rolled around the winder and all my photos were lost also exposed somehow. I was crushed, really crushed, and my only hope is to do it all over again one day.
I had sunset strip when it was really like 42nd street used to be in NY really brightly lit at night (lol)
also photos of friends new and old that I have not seen since, a friend from grad school and her kids (have I been out of GRAD SCHOOL for over 25 years?
