Our aughter gave birth to our first gand baby on March 11th. She is very depressed with the post partum blues plus pile on the rest of the story. She is 25 years old, gets food stamps, WIC and is unemployed. "Daddy" is 24 years old, in the Air Force Reserves, leaving for Iraq in a couple of weeks and will not even help put diapers on his little boy's bottom. He wants nothing to do with my daughter. She is living with his father and soon to be wife. Besides, a roof over her and Codie's head there is no help from that end. I am having a baby shower for her and Codie with mine and my husband's family and friends. We do what we can to help her, but I am only making minimum wage and my husband may be unemployed soon. Anyone that sends her a card for the baby shower will receive a potluck of 50 coupons from me. If you include coupons that she can use ( General Mills Cereal (must be good on any), Luvs Diapers, Nestle Good Start Formula and Nestle Juicy Juice) or $1.00 cash that she could use towards diapers your name will be put into a drawing. She cannot use expired coupons. I will have her do three drawings the day of the baby shower (April 19th). First name drawn will receive some Avon items from my stockpile. Second name drawn will receive an item hand crafted by me. Third name drawn will receive some Discovery Toys from my stockpile. Email me for the mailing address.
