He had a 1992 crystler convertable labaron, a lady at his work who is a single mom of 3 works at his place of employment cleaning buses and makes minimum wage, she lives on the ss of chicago and takes buses and trains to get to work 5 days a week...anywho he started asking around work, who does'nt have a car? And she raised her hand...now she can get to work by car and does'nt have to take buses with the kids when doing grocery shopping..I guess from my own personal story of struggling on buses with bags and baby made him want to reach out and help this lady...he took nothing in return for the car...very proud of him for paying it forward, guess I rubbed off on him about giving back and helping others..lol! wonderful feeling!
He bought a new car a 1994 amigo, which is very cute, only 1 rust spot that needed minor work...he bought it really cheap and got a great deal on it, he brought home the new car last night...good thing he's a mechanic for a living and was able to do all the repairs himself..now I have to sew in a new back window for the softtop...sometimes I wish I was'nt a seamstress!! lol!!.

been on the other end of this and I know what a blessing it was for us, pray your bf sees a blessing from it.
When we were first married and in our teens and early twenties, we were on our way to church, 30 miles away,(it was 40 below.) Our car broke down,half way there, we knew there would be no fixing it, so went ahead and hitched a ride with a trucker, and went ahead and went to church, (not even knowing how we were going to be able to get back home.) There were only a couple people that came out to church that night, one of them was a young guy we knew but not well yet. He gave us a car that night, no strings attached. He was not well off himself, but just happened to have bought himself a newer car, and had this other car he wanted to give to someone. My husband used it to get back and forth to work for a long time. God blessed our friend over the years, and he has his own business now, and is doing very well.

My bf has 3 brothers, 1 is married, 1 is not attracted to women..lol!! and the 3rd brother is only 12 years old..

I never knew anyone who gave a car away to basically a stranger, she works at the same company as him but they work in different departments and they don't chat, just say hello..
