Then you would both be sitting at home with trades not sent. How rude to say she held because she had not traded with you, that is a two way street; and especially if you had more feedback, why didnt she realize to send immediately.
I think the biggest issue is that she never told you she was holding it before you sent your end... I would want to know in case I decided to get the item(s) from someone else who would mail out without holding.

nothing was mentioned in our e-mails about holding her end until she received mine and I realized that is what happened when she e-mailed me and let me know that she had received mine and she said I mailed yours today and I said what?????????--You did not mention to me you were holding and we have had numerous trades before and she said it is my new policy to hold until I receive and that is the last time we have traded and will be the last time we will ever trade. Feedback speaks for itself and I have plenty of it and if you are going to adopt that as your new policy for trading it needs to be stated in your original post when you post whatever you have for trade so people can decide if that is how they want to trade especially if they have good feedback.
Being cautious is one thing but you have to let people know exactly how a trade is going to be carried out-- 7|2|I've done the same thing, Betty.....I have had trades held without my knowledge and the other person has been her maybe 2 yrs..I've been here 10 and I did NOT appreciate not being told upfront....that person is now on my personal Do Not Trade list now. I had it happen with one other person some time ago, and now when I make a trade with that person, I make sure to remind them that we have traded and I expect her end to go out the next day , just as I am sending mine out the next day. First, don't these people know the golden rule? "do unto others". How would THEY feel if someone held their end of the trade to them? What's fair is fair and nobody whos got good feedback should have to wait on their end.
Second, I think it's a good idea to leave on these people's feedback, a comment and headsup that these people hold their end, the ones that don't feel they have to be let us know first.
Third, sooner or later, these people aren't going to have anybody to trade with. Keep records of who does this and just don't trade with them again.
I can see if they let you know they are going to do it and if you are new and don't have good feedback or none and it's a big value trade... but PLEASE traders, be fair and let us know so that we can decide for ourselves wither to go thru with the trade.
