About a year ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through the entire regimen to get rid of it - operation, chemotherapy & radiation (at the time, they told her that she should have chemo OR radiation, but she went ahead and had both to be extra sure of getting rid of the cancer).
A few days ago she went for her one year checkup, and they found two more lumps. She goes for a biopsy on the 31st.
As many of you know, my sister died from breast cancer just a few short years ago, and my parents have been through SO SO much since then.

I just can't believe all that they've been through in the last five years or so. My mom lost her mother, then my sister died. She was diagnosed with parkinson's disease and has lots of symptoms from that. She had to have back surgery, then she had the breast cancer with an operation, chemo & radiation, and more recently she had to have her shoulder operated on.
My dad had a hip replaced a couple of summers ago, and while he was in the hospital, he suffered a heart attack and had to have triple bypass surgery. He's been diagnosed with arthritis, adult type diabetes and Raynaud's syndrome. And he has constant pain in his legs and back.
It's been a terrible several years for them, even more so because of my mom's problems with parkinson's. I just pray that this turns out to be nothing, and nothing else bad happens to them. Don't know how much more they can handle.

My mom got the results back from her biopsy and the cancer has come back again. She goes next week to talk about being operated on, but didn't really have any more details beyond that.
