I have one grocery...that doubles coupons up to $1...about 20 miles from me...
when i first started going over there...the clerks..made it well known..to me and allllllllllll the other customers..that i am the only one that uses a large amount of coupons.........
they act as if the coupons are in a different language..........duh!!!
but ..not only are they illerate to using and handling of coupons.........they make a spectical....out of it........
for example...3 weeks ago..i went in at nite..something i had never done.......soon as my foot hit inside the door..i saw one of the assistant managers ..hurry over to the clerk..and i could hear her........say...Oh you get to meet the coupon lady tonite...the other one says huh...then they both turn and look at me..........that alone...P---d me off! But i didnt say anything.......
and if u know me...thats a job in itself.....to keep from commenting.....
not to mention.....they ALWAYS MAKE MISTAKES...... and i have to take the tape back in and get them to correct it.....one time..it was like a $35 mistake..........
but now...when i take my grocerys to check out...she wants coupons first......then she seperates them..into piles...so now i try to keep all alike items together......and she will for example if i have 5 oatmeal...she will ring them up..count them..........then count the coupons..then she will take the 5 oatmeal coupons off..........then she will dig thru the pile of coupons...depending on whats next on the belt...she continue...ringing up......digging thru cps...ect.........a 15 min wait in the line...has turned into 45 mins..or more........
then yesterday...each time..it didnt double...when i pointed it out to her...the other assistant.....(who thinks she owns the store).......each time the clerk would stop to correct a mistake..the assistant would say......."what is it mary"..she would reply nothing im just correcting where it didnt double...wouldnt be 2 mins.......till she would say.."what is it mary"..finally the clerk says.......nothing.....if i need you i will holler.........
but they make me feel...like im stealing because i use coupons.......i feel like im the only one they target with this riduculious bull........i never have but one coupon per item......my coupons always match the product.........and yesterday..they wouldnt take..my orange juice cps..because they were put out by a wine company.......she tried to tell me ..i had to buy the orange juice..where i got the wine...then said well we are a dry county...........and we dont carry the product.........I SAID..LISTEN LADY........YOU CARRY ORANGE JUICE......AND THATS WHAT THE COUPON IS FOR........
FINALLY I JUST GRABBED THE COUPON..MADE THEM TAKE THE OJ OFF MY TICKET....THEY MAKE ME SOOOOOOOOO FREAKING MAD
IM SERIOUSLY THINKING OF CALLING THE OWNER AND TELLING HIM ..I FEEL LIKE THEY ARE JUST DOING THIS CRAP TO ME..AND NO ONE ELSE BECAUSE I USE ALOT OF COUPONS...AND TELL HIM HE NEEDS TO HIRE SOMEONE WITH SOME COMMOM SENSE

i started taping the coupons directly to the products that way there was absolutely no way the cashier could get it wrong. i'd do it while i was shopping so i could watch everything be rung up and every coupon come off. after about the 3rd time the manager came to ME and told me i didn't need to do that anymore. i never had another problem. hth :)

almost makes me want to say........forget it.......but it helps us to save......
