I've been down & out with celiac disease a lot recently. Even water seemed to set me off last week!
So I thought, let's see what other folk here are allergic to.

Here's my list:

Wheat/Gluten
Lactose
Pollen
Allergic asthma
Aerosols (some set of my allergic asthma & some don't)
Aspirin
Augmentin
Dairy

I also have a really bad reaction to mosquito bites. When I lived in Illinois I got bitten every now & then. If I get a bite on my arm my entire arm & hand will swell up to the point of total pain & not being able to use that limb :(
Sheesh!!

I rarely wear jewlery and I will tell people if I wear it, it has to be real and they laugh at me or think I am just being snobbish (no costume jewlery for me attitude) so glad to know I am not the only one! Other than that, sometimes depending on weather my allergies act up, right now pollen is out of control so I am red and sniffy. But that is it.

As for meds, I'm allergic to:

Penicillin
Doxicycline
Vioxx (now off the market thank God)

As for other things:

Cats
Pollen
Certain soaps (laundry & bar)
Certain perfumes/aerosols
Grass/hay
Wool
Poison Ivy/Oak/Sumac
Mold
The "pills" on the inside of sweatshirts
Suntan oil (I can wear suntan lotion, just not the oil)
Certain pesticides used to kill weeds

I also used to be allergic to weeds & the sun but I've fortunately developed a higher tolerance to those & to cats.

Think Spring!

I develop a rash that is the only side affect I get, but that is enough. hmm..guess I will see if I can find some "eco-friendly organic types to try..something without chemicals in it.

I was stung several times when I was little without much of a reaction, then one day I was stung by 3 yellowjackets and my whole body ballooned up and I had to go to the hospital. Now I have to carry an epi-pen. Have never had to use it since then (haven't been stung), but I am absolutely terrified of bees now. Not so much because of a sting, but what happens to me afterwards.

I had allergy tests done about 20 years ago, and I was allergic to lots of things, at least half of the things that I was being tested for. Oh, and I'm allergic to pencillin - I get little dots all over my body. :)

I use to get shots but the hubby would get nervous in the process and leave the needle hanging on my hip so I decided to go in and get them done by the dr. instead. I finally just stopped but it helped my allergies a lot. Not necessarily with the cat hair but I can now have a long-haired chihuahua and not get swollen and itchy everywhere.

Cheap detergents make me break out in blisters & I can only use Summer's Eve down south ;)
Dust & even fog set off my allergic asthma. There's a lot of fog where I come from (England) & I can't go outdoors in it or I have severe difficulty breathing
