involves my laptop and a cup of coffee. :( They are sending me a new harddrive but I have a feeling that won't work...so....
who can recommend a light, fairly inexpensive laptop.
I'm not even sure how much Memory I might need but something light and on the small side would be better.
any recommendations?

Our Acer laptop has been back to the mfg for repair 8 times. They have made it clear that they will NOT replace a computer. It must be sent back in for repair. Customer service is HORRIBLE!!! I should know I have documentation from over 30 calls with problems. I spoke with a few reps that "honestly" told me that they have alot of problems and are constantly having people send in computers for repair. I ask everyone to boycott this company, that is unless you want to throw money out the window!
I do not have any suggestions as to which brand to buy, I'd love to have some good research to find a good computer myself.
Just thought I'd give some insight on the TRUE ACER!!!!

it's a great laptop with a long battery life and got great reviews..alot more than the Acer...so I thought someone could benefit from my 2 days of looking. :) theprice was the same as the Acer. :)
