Lately he's been suffering from some anger issues which we have determined are partly because his best friend for two years in school has found another friend. So everytime he gets mad, he gets REALLY mad. Throws huge all out temper trantrums, tries to break things, slams himself into the hard floor, etc. His doctor is aware of what's going on and we are trying to adjust his medication, but have had no luck yet. My son is starting to do horrible in school and he's always been at the top of his class... he just won't do the work anymore. He keeps getting into trouble in both school and his after school program. It's been a rough month for all of us.
I told him to stop playing on the computer yesterday morning and get ready for school for the hundreth time and he got made and slammed his hand down on the mouse pad and keyboard of my computer... apparently right over the hard drive in the machine... now it won't boot up or recongnize the hard drive!
All my kids pictures and everything else are lost! I'm using hubby's horrible computer which has taken me 11 minutes to boot up and get online. UGH.
I've called my Mom's Fiance to see if he could look at the machine, it's what he does for a living. I'm so bummed right now. I live on that computer, every picture I have taken in years is on that computer! My kids are 5 & 6, these are pictures I'm not going to be able to replace if they can't be retrieved off the machine

Well, luckily my Mom's fiance works on computers for a living.. because i didn't have to pay him $100 to try and retrieve my pictures only to tell me he couldn't get them! I paid them in bags of stockpiled groceries instead! He tried for hours, but the hard drive was cracked when my son hit it, so there was no retrieving any pictures! two years of my kids pics gone!
We replaced the hard drive, cost $100 and my husband did the work himself.
