She has had a simply bad week. She started with a stomach virus on last Friday. Vomited all night, was feeling better, Sat, and Sun, and then On Monday, started vomiting violently all over again. What the Heck? I took her to her doctor on Tuesday, and he thinks, she lost all of her good bacteria, with bad. Plus all the vomiting caused acid reflux, which isn't a help.
So he has but her on two different antacids, and she will be starting an acidopholus(sp) on Saturday, after her stomach has calmed. She hasn't gotten sick at all today, and is eating very small meals, and small amounts of water, every couple of hours.
SHe had lost 8 lbs(she is 6)when she went to the doctors office on Tuesday. I am sure she has lost more, in the last couple of days, as her clothes, which were getting tight, are now lose as can be. I was a wreck last night, thinking she was dehydrated, and was up all night thinking I was going to have to take her to the ER. I didn't, it was mother worries(as the doctor called it, when I talked to him this morning.
But, she still has a road to recovery, she seems to be doing very well today. Just asking for everyone to pray for her. It is has been so hard for her to understand, she can not have any dairy. She loves chocolate milk, and grilled cheese.....UGH!! Although, I did go to BJ'S and got a case of SILK SOY CHOCOLAE Milk, she likes it...THANK GOD!! I am so run down from washing, clothes, giving her sponge bathes, and stem cleaning furniture. But, thank you all for letting me vent. Donna

Both grandson's sick here. Temp. of 102, dr. says a viral thing, has to just run it's course. It's course is wearing us out!!

my 11 year old deals with the acid reflux, and has had to give up her favorites, so I know how hard that can be. No chocolate here.
