that is a step in the right direction. I make my own cloth bags and use those, even give some away sometimes to help people switch to being more earth friendly, I believe we can all do our part.

Only one other local grocery store offers "points" they are Green Stamp points. There we get 50 pts per bag! Which is a much nicer deal.

8|1|I am a huge advocate of the CLOTH bags. You win all the way around. The enviroment being the biggest winner. Think of this way, I spent 4.99 for 3 heavy duty, extra large, cloth bags at BJ'S. Every time I use them atthe grocery store, I get .05 back per bag. The bags are paid for in 31 trips. So you don't even lose you money, to be kind to the enviroment. lives earth friendly. For frozen foods I whipped up some waterproof bags to hold those so frozen stuff does'nt get my cloth bags wet or yucky. For fresh veggies/fruit, I use those big netted hoisery bags..lol!! they work well, some people stare in line wondering what the heck that is...but most comment on how cool it is..I can leave the veggies/fruit stored in the fridge in the bags till I am ready to use, so keeps the fridge tidy as well.
I am also switching my garbage bags this month to using nylon bags, that can be dumped and washed..we recycle a lot and got our trash down to only 1 bag a week...pretty good..okay I am done rambling..lol!

The front of the v-bay has a pocket to store keys, coupons etc..the outside print is of dogs & cats, the reversible print is a light green..figured i'd do it this way so guys can just reverse print and use also..I will be hosting on a pet site next month..will e-mail you and lyk when it's running so you can enter as well..Unfortunantly pet site she does'nt post pics of items, but I will post pic's on my blog..
