painting the hallway and bathroom, laying tile in the bathroom and painting my DS room. Also going to put up my border in my living room and kitchen if i managed to get it today.
Let me tell you how i did the rooms im so excited because its coming along very nicely. Well my living room has a hardwood floor in it. I painted the walls a Bleached Wheat which match my wrap around sectional really good. Im putting border up that is maroon wavy things on with green ivy. My kitchen is painted country white. The tile i laid in there is green and white. I choose green so that it would match my counter tops. The border im putting up in there is neutral colors and says some thing about Cafe Latte or something like that. Its a cafe theme. Oh yeah my rug im getting in the living room is really warm colors to give the living room a little bit of color. My bathroom is getting done in outhouses. I found some really cute border, the matching shower curtain and hooks. Im having a blast doing all of this. DS room is getting done in a light brown color. I got him border that has deer on it and some wall stickers that have deer as well and i found some material that has deer for his curtain. Thats a surprise for him he doesnt know what im doing it in but let me tell you i have a real country boy on my hands who loves to hunt and fish and hes only 8 so i think he will love it!!! The girls room is getting done in pink and purple. Two walls pink and the other two walls purple. Im putting border up in there room that is pink, purple green and yellow that has flowers and hearts on it its very cute. Dont know what im doing for curtains in there yet. I will have go look at material and see what i can find because im not buying curtains im making them all myself
BTW did i mention how much fun im having doing all of this, LOL its alot of hard work but at the end of the night we sit back and admire all of our work and its coming along very nicely. When i say we i mean me and my friend Tina we have been doing all of this ourselves.
My patches in my walls turned out very good i completly impressed myself, lol and my tile job looks great also this is the first time i have done either of those things
