My son was home sick from school today w/the chills, cough, headache & bodyaches so hot soup is in order. ;) It's been running rampant in the school here where 120 kids were absent in just 1 day last week. My son is kind of lucky tho as some kids also experienced vomiting along w/the other symptoms.
Hope you feel better soon Joy! ;)

I have flour tortillas that I could use but I think I'm going to make them the way my grandma made them for us when we were little ... mix flour, water and salt to make a dough, roll out on the counter, cut into pieces and fry. It's not very healthy, but they are sooo good. Fried dough, mmmmm. I only make them once every 2-3 months, so I figure it's not -so- bad. :) It's also a super cheap meal for us. I got the ground beef for .99/lb (woohoo for manager's specials), and after coupons the taco seasoning was free and the shredded cheese was about 0.50. :D

My husband and I are on our 3rd day of the Zone Diet plan. Meal planning is very time consuming!
Tonight we had LOTS of lettuce and tomatoes, green pepper (I forgot the red onion...darn),
salsa, light sour cream mixed with a bit of taco seasoning, grilled chicken (seasoned with fajita seasoning).
It was actually very good!

So I did a quick change of plans. Made some rice and tossed the taco seasoned ground beef on to the rice then topped with cheese & lettuce lol.
