You could come and visit me!! LOL That will take you 3 hours though. Passports are not needed until July, if I understand correctly. But, you would need photo ID and a birth certificate for each of you. Then, if you want, I could give you all kinds of tourist brochures etc. There's LOTS to see and do, especially in Canada's capital, Ottawa (just another hour to the North).
I'd suggest upstate NY to meet, but there is very little for the kids to do.
You may want to come to FL, but I won't get to meet you here:(

Value resorts are very reasonable and lots of great specials going on this year...buy 4 days get 3 free!
It can be a VERY affordable trip IF you do your "homework" and Plan, Plan, Plan EVERYTHING...and OMG...everyone will love it!!!!

I went a couple of years ago and went to the Grand Ole Opry, thats fun because it is a live taping. Went to the wax museums and on a ferry ship that including lunch and a comic show, plus lots of other great places. Also have been to Disney in California, tons of stuff to do there, Universal Studios, Walk of Fame, tour of where the stars live and awhole lot more. But what about the Oregon coast? Oregon is the only state that I know of where the entire coastline is publicly owned. You can travel down the coast and see so many incredible things like Shore Acres, Newport and many others.

and don't forget to check out the cheap cruises you can take that deport from Tampa.
Or maybe you should subscribe to one of the travel alert lists and just pick from the best deal that comes up that strikes your fancy.
