If I am reading this correctly, and I apologize if I am not, the way I understand it is betsy owed mumzie a swap box, which for whatever reason was not sent, someone else replaced the swap box so that mumzie got a box, if that is the way it was then mumzie should not have received the paypal from betsy because she had already received a box from someone else, the payment betsy sent should have gone to the person that covered the box betsy was supposed to send. If it happened in the above fashion then that is saying that mumzie got a box from whoever replaced it, plus she got the paypal payment?

Just an observation but if she received that $20 via PayPal, I would think it would be much quicker & easier for her to send it on to you via PayPal also. Less risky too since snail mail can be so unpredictable sometimes.... ;)

the 20 in paypal was taken out of my paypal because I owed ebay fees and they took some out so yes the whole 20 isnt in there anymore. What does it matter if I send 20 in pay pal ,by mail or by horse back, I AM SENDING THE 20 SOOOOO

ETA: I wasnt aware that Betsy was going to send the kids swap...and no, she doesnt need to do so. Shelly will be reimbursed by Betsy (eventually, when she gets the money you are to send her) for the kids swap she replaced. That should even it all up for everyone. And at this point, your only involvement in that whole scenario is to get the money to Shelly.

All I know is that....this should be said and done... mumzie is more or less covering the kidswap (with the $20 2lils sent) to make up to me..since i replaced the one that 2lils didn't send.
so the $7.00 paypal mumzie sent this morning..and then she is sending the $13.00 to me in the mail.. that will make up the kidswap. AND all is done. Mumzie's never rec'd swap from
2lils was replaced...that is done!! so the $20 2lils sent last week..is being sent to me to make up for the kidswap. SO all should be done~~ I"m not defending anyone.. taking up for anyone...
bad mouthing anyone... GEEEZZZZ...I have real like to deal with...and I"m not mad at anyone...picking one over the other.. I just know that....all of this drama is too much!!! I could go on and

It doesn't matter if ebay took fee's..you were paid via pp, therefore you should have sent it to Shelly AS SOON AS YOU GOT IT.If you hadn't been trying to keep it and had it for days, ebay wouldn't have snagged it.
You received THREE (3) make up boxes from people who were kind enought to send, so basically you did better in the swap then anyone else. (JMO)
I truely believe, you would have kept the $20 you got in pp if these ladies hadn't of stepped in.

I've tried to keep my nose out of it---cuz I DO prefer to keep quiet and anonymous (and thank you, Mumzie for respecting that and NOT posting my name in this post).
After Mumzie got the paypal she DID email me on the 24th....I just didn't see it till days later---cuz I've been busy with work. I read this post and went back and checked my email and found it---after she'd already posted she would send it to shelly---which I told her was IMO the best idea.
So, Mumzie posted that she had emailed whomever sent her the box (I don't know what the others sent and cannot speak for them)----and Mumzie DID email me that same day and offered me paypal. It took me days to realize I HAD to check my email due to work--but during that time, this drama continued and she took the next step and opted to just send it to shelly (fine by me). I just wanted to clear the air a bit by saying Mumzie DID offer the paypal to me on that same day---she just didn't hear from me.
As to why she accepted it in the first place----well, SHE knew who'd sent her stuff and WHAT they'd sent--- I'd honestly think she'd be in the best position to figure out whom to send what to. And in my case, I DID NOT post in the thread...except for shelly and Mumzie, no one knew I'd sent anything...I was just a trader sending a box---which is how I liked it. Plus, Mumzie didn't know my paypal address anyway---so she had to email me for it. (but for all anyone knew, I could've sent a used tissue, 5 Qtips and some gum wrappers---OK, I WOULDN'T, but no one else knows WHAT gets sent in a box). That's my opinion only as to WHY she accepted it---but it's what I would've done too.
I'm not agreeing with everything that's been said and done here---but I wanted to be honest and say she DID try to contact me immediately.
And now, my next client is here and I'll stop my 4 cent thread and go back to work.
