OMG, I have had a headache of some degree for over 30 years! Every minute of every day I have had a headache!! On Tuesday, I got a different headache around noon and by 12:30, I took a percoset and went to lie down. I started to throw up and it was just awful. I had to go to work at 4 because I thought it would subside and I hadn't called in. By 5, i was out the door and i was either going to the Doc or to the ER. It was just like the headache I had last year when the tumor burst inside my face and i was scared. I was thinking, MAYBE sinus but it was just so terrible. Went to the doc and he saw me and yelled at me to take the prednisone that he had prescribed about a bazillion times and I never took. He gave me something for nausea and also fioricet with caffeine. I took them and started the prednisone that night that I had so resisted. I had a very severe case of hallucinating years ago when it was injected at the hospitl after an accidental "walnut ingestion" (severly allergic). Wed., I had a slight headache, thursday and today----NOTHING!! no pain, nowhere!! I cannot even believe it. LOL, how do people live without pain? I called Amy thurs night and told her i didn't have a headache and what happened and she said, "Welcome to life Mom. Imagine what you can do NOW, pain free!!!" LOL, I have had a headache her whole life, she said she could always tell by my face how bad it was or if it was just "there". I am just so very grateful and so HAPPY!! BTW, Doc said as always, sinus headache. I guess that MAY be the reason he has the medical degree and i don't!

My mom had a headache for like 20+ years that finally just went away one day (btw, she always wondered if hers was sinus related too).
I can't imagine how different it must feel for you! I'm so happy for you, I'm sitting here smiling.

Not sure if it was the eight weeks that I was ordered to stay on the couch or if it was the way the mallelous bone healed...slightly tilted but either way, I am so happy.
I was in a bad car accident in 99 and had chronic pain since then.
It is a great feeling to wake up in the morning and not be in pain.
