I want to sell some items I made and inventory moved out so I have room for the new stuff I am creating. I used e-bay right before x-mas and sales were aweful, I listed 8 items and not one sold, and I know in the past I always had good luck with stuff selling rather quick..Wondering if it has picked up now with buyers? or is the site still slow?

Had a good couple of weeks before Christmas, but nothing for the past month or so. If you ever frequent the community boards on there, you'll see tales of people's items not even being found in search results!
I have to wonder if stuff is even being seen with all their crazy changes and glitches. One day I was searching for something, and I got like 100 results for both BINs and Auctions. So I clicked on BINs to see what was there, and it told me there were 600+ items there! Now tell me how there could be 600+ BINs, but only a total of 100 BINs and Auctions? Crazy, crazy, crazy.
There are lots of alternative sites, but I haven't found any that would fit what I'm currently selling.
Some examples: Bonanzle, ebid, Etsy (I think that's what it's called). I've heard mixed results for these sites.

Because lots of people want to save money so they'd be buying second hand. And lots of people need extra cash, so they'd be selling there.
I really think it's mostly the "disruptive innovation" they've instituted over the past year (not saying that the economy is not to blame at all, but I think ebay has shot itself in the foot with all their changes and their poorly executed changes and customer service).

I bought som items last month and the lady in florida send me an invoice online and said send her a check, so I did. She emailed me she got my check and sent me my stuff got it a week later.

I just posted 2 items, a bib and a cloth fitted diaper, hardley any clicks hit during the week, checked it on the 3rd day and sadly only 4 clicks, wow!! Anywho I got down to the last 22 hours no buyers...and then finally sold the diaper at buy it now price yesterday..The bib did'nt sell..extremly slow there.

I am lucky however there is a consignment store that takes kids clothing and toys that are in great condition and they sell the clothes for you and give you half in a check or store credit.
