I didn't lose much that I know of--just a couple of trades (which I will assume were completed)--but the holiday season Bud checks are coming in. I get my important mail at a post office box so I'm not worried about losing anything with financial information.
I used the online system and have a hold confirmation number, so they have to believe me. It's possible that mail was not held at all and later stolen, but Sunnyvale, CA, is not really known for this, and my (apartment)mailbox lock looked OK.
I can talk to the carrier over the weekend.
