there are 5 cars in this group, a lot of Mexicans, a couple with a baby and what looks like a bunch of single guys
they have huge truckes, suvs and a regular sized car. I used to park on the other side until a good ole boy got nasty with me
about parking over there (because the Mexicans took up all the spaces near my house) but then I started parking here whenever I could.
See what it gets me? We live in a low rent really horrible place but we are getting out of here, I just hope we don't have anything else
that happens to us!!!

actually got stopped by the police on my way. LOL, OMG, he asked me if I knew why he stopped me and I cannot even believe I said it but i was so upset, "You're psychic and you knew I needed a policeman" and then i went right into what happened to me. Maybe because I am in my 50's and I really didn't mean it fresh, he didn't take it that way and just took my story and wrote up the report. Before he left, he told me I didn't have my seat belt on but since I was on the way to the station and obviously upset, he let me go.
So, the end of my story is, my neighbor hit my car in the parking lot, another neighbor saw and left the license plate # on a note. She got scared i guess and went to the Apt. complex and found out she hit my car and called me. I did not have the police report filed as she did call me. She said she didn't even know she backed up into my Toyota with her SUV (Yeah, right) until a gas station attendant told her she must have hit something as her light was out. She had Geico insurance, they paid for everything, I called my insurance company and they said as long as that company paid for everything and I did not need them, there was nothing reported to my ins co. Geico paid for my rental car as well.

Anytime I've had a nice car (only a couple of times or so actually. LOL), I've always fretted someone would schmuck it & be enough of a jerk to drive off w/out so much as a note. Most of the cars I've had haven't been anything fancy but no dents since I was 17 (& that was my own doing) & never anything anyone would feel was worth stealing, & they usually try their darnedest to even avoid parking next to it, certainly never wanting to mar up their own vehicle by hitting mine. LOL Trusty rusties but no dents. LOLOL

A lady came into the church asking who had a wine colored car. I thought I was parked in someone's way so they couldn't get out. We get outside & yup, I was in the way alright cuz she schmucked my car! ROFL!! I told her not to worry about it tho as I'm in the market for a different vehicle anyway & it wasn't worth reporting anyway so no need to make her insurance premium increase. I have a scratch & small dent on the driver's door but what bothered me the most was later on, I realized she'd also caught my side mirror so bent it. I had to fight w/it to get it so I could see out of it again. LOL
She was honest enough to come in to let me know so at least that was a good thing but I wondered if being at church had anything to do w/it. LOLOL
ETA: I think she was actually worse for wear cuz her tail light was laying in pieces on the ground. :-O

we got a great new place, it's like luxury and it's about the same as this place since I can get my stuf out of storage (a hidden cost) and we have a garage (areound here it costs 100/month yikes!) and we get free internet access YES!! and on our floor is the club room with free coffee, computers, X_BOX 360 which I could never afford, and 3 large screen tvs and a pool table. We have a hidden courtyard so he can finally learn how to ride his bike and an enclosed pool area with those huge silver grills that are so nice. There is also a gym YES for me and dashi and a room where they have aerobic and yoga classes and we can both go, boy does he need to learn to be calm ROFL
