Hello all, I received a typical notification, from Paypal about a payment being made. It was odd because, I hadn't made any payments. But became concerned it was a mistake, being charged to my accout.
Then noticed on the bottom it says cancel transaction. Everything looked exactly like a paypal email, except for the "cancel transaction" button. The only thing I am thinking, is, this was someone, trying to get my personal info. Thinking if I clicked the button, they would ask for password etc... In order to cancel the transaction. Giving them all the info to go in, and make purchases, on my accout.
So before pressing it, I went into my paypal account, and checked. there was no transaction listed, for that company, or amount. So deleted the email.
Hoping this may help someone else avoid, a huge hassle. I am very glad I did. Donna
