i sent out 73 envys from the post directly out to everyone here on the board on the same day .. it took 6 days to get from me here in cincinnati ohio to painesville ohio and she is only 4 hours away from me gezzzz .. but the people i sent to bakersfield ca and az and ny all got theres in 2 to 3o days .. prices are going up service is going down .. what a shame .. out of 73 envies only 1 now has not been recieved .. i cant believe it is takeing this long for are po to delivry mail .. 1|1|it's been a problem here for me for a long while now w/ the PO....|Skaytes|skaytez@gmail.com|09:36:51|02/13/2009|
same thing..closer to home it seems to take longer. I know from certain PO I have problems getting a item to a certain area. I know if I mail frm the N Judson PO to MN I better put a DC on the envie or will never get there. They reroute all the small cities mail to a larger city to sort and then return it BACK to the original city to deliver. Therefore, if I mail something in town here to GO to someone in town, I am better off just walking it over there to them. Otherwise it will be several days before they get it. And the PO wonders WHY they are losing money. Go figure, huh? I sent something out in one of those one price priority envelopes for $4.80..
i got it back telling me to add additional $2.15 in postage.???? I took it to the post office
and they looked at me like I added that sticker? they couldn't understand either who did that or why?
I was like...my point exactly.
she said...sometimes they'll do that if people add tape to tape it shut or something like that..
i'm like nope...it's sealed on it's own.. $4.80 postage on it...and it should be on it's way...GRRRR

had some stolen mail near Christmas time, and some SCARY hours before we left for California over CHristmas praying that our NFL tickets and Legoland tickets would arrive to us b4 we left.
And finally, son sent a postcard to a school seeking info from our area and the dang thing kept being returned to us instead of going to the school. I highlighted the TO: and FROM: thinking they would catch it but they did not. I finally had to put it in an unsealed envie and write a note asking that it be forwarded to the right address. That did the trick after three times...
I am normally a patient person, but the USPS has gotten under my nails one too many times lately so I consider them 'on my list' LOL

I know you were talking to Glennie, but don't you get the Target coupon book every so often? If not, you should call 800 to get signed up. Not sure how I originally got on their list, but I am sure 800# ppl could figure it out for you.

it amazes me that they are raising the rates, and talking about cutting back, when they are in a real poor string of service....have gotten the sealed and plastic body bags lately....I know some is due to thickness.....but heck-they are even charging more for that.....so since they want more, cant they get it here in 1 piece? I sent an envie from Pasadena, TX to Euless, TX on Tuesday morning and she still hasn't received it yet. I sent others out as well and those took longer than expected. What normally takes 2 days is taking 3-4 minimum. Sad, sad, sad.

mail coming in body bags as u put it
it has the sides and top ripped off and it was stapled then to check, 1 postcard had the bottom part torn off
and some envys just ripped up but contents still good but gee whiz what's with all this i say vickie
