I've been a member on this board for almost a year now and have had many wonderful trades but have never really had a chance to get to know alot about anyone outside of who has the best coupons...LOL!
So my game is sort of a "Who's who on RS?"

I am married 15 yrs, have twin boys, also 15. I have been a nurse for about 16yrs. I live in IL, but lived in FL for a few years and hope to move back there when my boys graduate high school. I have two dogs: one little, hyper sheltie and a big, dorky-cute greyhound. I also have 2 birds, a cockatiel and a lovebird....well, the tiel is my DH's and is kinda spoiled and naughty, lol. I like to read, crochet, do word games, and sew in my spare time. I love coffee! I have been at RS for 10 yrs I think, I've lost count, lol. I can be hard to get to know, but once I know someone, I'll talk your ear off, lol. I am 41...married to a wonderful man that I met online 10 years ago. We have been married almost 5 years.
I am from West Virginia...and am very homesick. I now live in Kansas City, MO.
I have 2 wonderful kids.... Travis who is 19.....now serving in the Army. He has been my "weakness" for the last year or so with the Army.
He's my baby...and of course...I didn't want him to join. The Good thing about all of this...I've lost over 25 lbs. :) NO Really... the best thing about
all of this... I now see how very, very proud of him I am. AND it took me a long time to be able to say this... BUT I am..."A proud army mom"....AND I
am also a mother n law...Travis married a few days before he joined the army....AND I love her too!!! AND Haley......Haley is 12 years old. A very smart and
beautiful girl. I am so proud of her!! She has been making straight A's in school....and has been a great kid!!! We get along great...and we spend alot of time together.
In a typical week....we play games 3 or 4 nights a week...I make sure we eat supper together...and I try to stay as close to her as I can.
I have 2 doggies....Copper and Bella. I bought Copper for haley before we moved to Kansas City, to help with the move away from home. I was going to get her
an American Girl Doll ...but she saw the cutest little puppy at this "flea market" and we had to have him. Copper has become part of the family...and we love him so much. When we
bought copper..he was suppose to be a Jack Russell Terrier.. BUT there is no way he is that...he's what we call a "whatcha--mah-call-it"...
Bella is a yorkie...which I think....has been my way to cope with my kids growing up. I dress her up...and well...I just love my doggies both so much.
My hubby John is a Desktop Publisher. Me...I actually took Early Retirement from The college of West Virginia University in 2004. I was an Administrative Assistant..where I worked for 17 years...
it just so happed that due to lack of funds...etc... they offered this early retirement...which we still get benefits for 7 years... so...I was in love with this man that was 1,000 miles away
and knew we wanted to be together....so the timing was good.......so I took the offer...and took early retirement. I now work part time at a shipping store for UPS & FEDEX.
Very part time..since things have been so slow... But it's all good!! :) I have also been working typing for a man that is working on publishing a book...so I am his typist! :)
I am addicted to the internet period...I love the message boards...I love facebook....and I do alot with ebay.
my favorite things???? I love our hot tub in the winter and our pool in the summer....I am very lucky in my life to have what I have....so I feel fortunate in many ways..
BUT I will never be truly happy until I move back to my family in WV. I'm just terribly homesick.....AND I have no friends whatsoever here.....I have no problems meeting/having friends online..
but in real life...I truly have no friends. :(
My kids are my life......and I have had a very hard time letting go.....The whole ordeal with travis going in the army...has put depression into my vacabulary and into my WORLD. I dont' know how to explain it...
but it has overcome me...AND I keep trying to accept it...BUT I guess...I just wasn't ready to let him go yet. I can't even think about haley...she's only 12 now!!! YES... I am a SAD case!!
I can truly say, that I have "found" some wonderful friends on this board...that really mean alot to me!! AND there are a few...that I have slacked with because I need to contact them more...and let them know how much I truly care.
BUT I hope they know that I do care..BUT I've just been blah with life.....and I guess trying to grasp life on my own first. BUT I love interacting with everyone....and I love the great deals I find on here...I love the general chat...the swaps...the friendships...and the day to day...things that we have to do on here!! LOL

I'm Rebekka, happily married to my soulmate Will. We have 3 children, Timothy is almost 29, Matthew is 16 and Cheyenne is 9. I'm originally from California but have lived in Arizona twice and a couple times here in VA, I've moved from coast to coast 5 times. My husband is an engineer but is disabled right now due to cancer. He grew up in Vermont and New York. We met on the internet and it was love at first byte. LOL. We have a puppy dog that is more like our 4th child to us and is very spoiled. As for myself, I enjoy coupons, learning to refund, crafts, computers, travel, reading, old movies, vintage items, Barbies, homeschooling my daughter, scrapbooking, cardmaking, rubberstamping, baking, cooking, spending time with my family and so much more. P.S. Forgot to mention I met hubby online, he was in TX and I was in VA at the time. I have heart problems, fibro, and my legs and knees are bad and probably gonna have knee replacement surgery. My oldest son was born with Von Recklinghausen disease (a form of neurofrabomatosis) and also had to have two brain surgeries and has a slowing growing brain tumor. He also has a shunt due to hydrocephalus at age 12. Also forgot to say Top Chef is my fave tv show :)

I'm Sharon from NJ, about 50 miles north of Atlantic City and I live right on the Jersey Shore! I've lived here all my life and hopefully will sell our house this Spring to make permanent move to New Hampshire. Wish us luck:)
I'm 52 years old, hubby is 57 years old, married since 1980. Altogether we had 5 daughters (oldest twin died when she was a year old in 82'), 27, 26, 23 & 13. I've been SAHM since girls were born in 81'. Hubby lost his computer school business in 2004 after 34 years in business. He's semi-retired & self-employed in couple commercial properties.
I also have one dog, a male Yellow Lab named Romeo who will be 7 this May.
Besides couponing/refunding since 1980, I also enjoy cooking, baking, love to read, ceramics, cross-stitching, rug-hooking, crochet afghans, making chocolate candies for the holidays, exercising/healthy lifestyle and spending time with my family/friends.

Fernie is what we call DH (short for Fernando). Been married 18 years and have 3 odd children lol. 21 yr old son, 17 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter. Spaced 'em apart nicely. :-D I have 2 chihuahuas (just lost one) named Dori & Nemo. They're a handful!
We live in an apartment and DH has a complete drum set in my living room. In my middle child's room he has an amp and electric guitar. Once in a while they come together in the living room and make some music (while driving my neighbors insane). It's a mad, mad house (or apt.). LOL!
What I love about this board is that people are always willing to help others in their time of need. There are some great people out there that I've come to know through trading and they have helped me out in my time of need.

I have pushed myself to be the Best person i can..I have placed my life on hold to raise 37 wonderful boys...
Along the way times was sometimes hard but i always made myself believe that there was nothing i couldnt make it thur ..
You never know what God is going to hand you , but i have always believed he will never give you more then you can handle .
I have always been a very careing person and make sure that everyone that is around me that i love and hold dear to my heart has everything they need I work very hard to get where i am at .. For over the past 15 years i have been a mother to 37 boys makeing sure they get there education and grow to be a man and to earn the respect they so deserve.
I have watch my little girl die ,& watch a son be told he has cancer, i have been beat down stab and left to die and thur all that i have found the strenght to bring myself back up.
I have strived so hard to earn the respect i so deserve.I have put my life on hold to make sure that others are well takeing care of and loved.
All i want in life is a Man to love me for who i am .Someone i can love and take care of no matter what he chooses to do in life .I am the type of person who stands behind a person in every step they take makeing sure im there to help pick them up when they fall to cheer them on and give them encouragement.To let them know. know matter what happens i know in my heart you tried your best and that if what you tried to do didnt work there is always something else out there for you to concor.

My name is Shel Marie, I am 36 and married to a great guy Ted. I have two sons (Dagan and Skylar) who will be three in June... they were preemies, born at 29 weeks. My most honest confession is that I still feel guilty for them being born too early (they spend their first 3 months in a NICU with me by their side praying that they would someday forgive me for their early birth)
I am blessed to be a stay at home mom to these little miracles, my husband is an auto tech and has worked at his company for 15 years (currently a foreman/office manager). For the first time in all those years, his work is slow and his boss (and best friend of 20 years) is having thoughts of closing shop! He actually works 80 miles from home, so his daily commute means little time with his kids, so we really really enjoy our weekends together.
The boys and I spend our days right now saying the alphabet and learning to write letters and *trying* to keep the house clean, lol, as it is more fun to write with chalk on the front porch than do housework :) We have a black lab / German short-hair pointer who is about 6 years old who watches over the kids as if they were her own pups.
I LOVE this board and the valuable advice all offer... you all have kept me from wanting to harm my in-laws on many occassions and have helped me find peace with that entire family by simply not letting them get to me :) This board has the best most caring people on earth!
One of my small joys is helping others here collect something they need that my family cannot use, like a refund recycling. I am so hoping to get to meet some of you folks this summer :)

My husband, Kirk, is a wonderful dad, and is employed with the company that makes Caron yarn. So, if you crochet, please consider buying Caron, LOL! He's an accountant there, and makes enough money that I can stay home with our 3 kids. We are currently homeschooling our 3 kids, and this is our first year doing so. In my former life, I taught 7th grade language arts and social studies.
I am a fan of science fiction type books of all kinds and my husband claims I am a certified bibliophile. I'm nuts about books and love to read!
My goals for this year are to learn to eat healthier, and learn to cook some new dishes.
I lost my mom just over a month ago, and even though I'm an only child, I get nothing. Well, I get everything, but I have to wait until I'm 58 1/2 to get it! Let's just say my mom was a little unique and a lot eccentric.
We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and if it were left to my kids, we'd have a zoo!
My newest guilty pleasure is Rock Band 2. We bought it for the kids for Christmas, but my husband & I have just as much fun as they do playing it! FUN!

Hi i am Donna, go by crazylady & it fits. Married to Harry for 30 yr. this June. Mom to Jerry 39, Roy 35, Penni 33, Matt 29, Jim 26 & Jaime 26. Grandma to Bryce 10, Madison 11,Gavyn 5,Greydyn 1 & Olivia 8 mo. Have 2 dogs & 2 cats. Live in a 1 horse town called Kingman, that has maybe 600 if you count all the dogs & cats! Closest big town is 35 miles away, so this is hicksville. Jim, Jaime,Gavyn & Greydyn live with us, so it's quite crazy here, hence crazylady!!! I love to refund but nothing here anymore, so have almost given it up, love to read, spend all summer rummaging & seems I'm also the bank of mom when it comes to my kids. I don't work except to keep my mind, which is getting harder & harder. I spend a lot of time on here doing nothing but reading other posts. lately I've been helping my girls get into scrapbooking, thank you Kristy for selling your stuff to me. I also talk with Jodi (Buster Brown) a lot she is my listening post & my lifesaver, thank you Jodi. I live a boring life but am proud to say that in the last 2 years I lost over 80 lb. & have gone from a size 16 to a size 10/12 depending on who made them. for enertainment, I go to a town called Wallace that has 100 in it, where my dad plays in a country band called HWY 341 Opry. They play in an old general store that can hold 250 max, & it's almost always full to the brim, that's how I lost my weight, by dancing. What a neat idea! My name is Nancy, and I'm 39 years old/young. I'm married, and have 3 children ages 9, 7, and 4, and we live in central New Jersey. We are transplants from Brooklyn, NY, and have lived here in NJ for about 3 1/2 years now. We also have a shi-tzu named Tiki, who is 3.
I'm a registered nurse, but have been a stay at home mom since the birth of my children. I did a little per diem work a few years ago, but stopped that. I plan to go back to school (AGAIN!) to complete my BSN degree. I have 2 Associates Degrees--1 in Business Administration, and 1 in Nursing. I actually started working toward my bachelor's degree about 10 years ago, but never finished. Now that my children are a just a tiny bit older, I'm able to go back to school part time. I hope to start in September. (I'm waiting to hear about my application!)
I am also an @rbonne consultant and a Cello in a Box representative. I'm not getting rich doing either, but even a little extra income helps. I'm considering adding Tupperware to my list as well, LOL.
I've been an RS member for several years now, but had taken a few breaks for personal reasons. I had a few bad experiences on the board, and I decided it was time to take a breather. Hi! I'm Loretta Harvey and I live near Portsmouth, Ohio (near the Ohio River).
I am married to Steve, and have one son, Matt, who is age 20 and is in the Army. I also have a wonderful step-son, Eric, who is age 24 and is also in the army. Hubby is a veteran too, so we are military family. Hubby is also an Eagle Scout, as well as Matt. Eric was a Star scout too, so it's safe to assume that we are a scouting family as well.
We are also a family of educators and nature lovers. Hubby is a college professor in biology and I teach HS science, biology is my favorite. I am currently working on my PhD in science education, so I have take some time off from the classroom to attend classes.
My hobbies are scrapbooking, beading and of course REFUNDING and COUPONING!
I am NOT a pet lover, but when my husband was diagnose with cancer 6 years ago, I got him a cat which we named Bailey. He sheds like crazy and often gets on my nerves, but he is my husband's best friend.
My mom, Marilyn (AKA msm276) and I do lots of refunding together. She is my hero, always supporting me in my education.
My other hero (besides hubby and son, Matt) is my brother Leonard, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has kept a positive attitude through it all. We are 11 months apart and I love him dearly. Seeing him with diminished thought processing and memory was really hard because he is a extraordinary civil and computer engineer.
I have made SO MANY new friends here at RS and have appreciated all of the support extended to me!

I am 61 years old married to hubby Larry forever or at least it seem like it 44 years we have 3 grown children and 5 grands and 2 step grands we are raising one of the grands we have had him since he was 18 months he is 17 now most of the time a good kid sometimes runs me crazy its sure a different world from the first time we had kids, I've been refunding and couponing for many years one of my first refunds were getting the baby a playpen from P&G and shes almost 38 now. back them P&G was a great company to do refunds no forms needed on most or if you needed one you could call and they would sent you a couple of them, a $5.00 refund was a big deal most were for $1 or $2, coupons were better too, now I hardly ever use a coupon brand names are so high. Hubby is retired and spends his time running me crazy. 1. I absolutely hate pigeons.They are disgusting creatures. I hate to walk under the underpass near my house because these things are diseased scavengers and I always think they sense that I hate them. . I make my children run under it and have explained to them that they are on their own if they stop before making it on the other side..j/k, i think :)The movie Birds comes to mind although those were not pigeons
2. I am currently a fatso. I am working on it but I absolutely am so uncomfortable with how huge I am at the moment. I have not been out anywhere except for Bingo (because let's face it, who cares what someone looks like at Bingo)
3. My kids are my life. Love them to pieces.
4. I've always wanted to be a writer.
5. I use coupons for everything. Not because I have to but because I love to get deals :)
. I remember everything from my childhood but cannot remember what I ate for breakfast.
8. I can be packed and moved out of this apartment in less than 5 minutes if James says we are getting a house. I have been pushing him out of this apartment for a long time but I am secretly scared that I will hate it up in Westchester (where he wants to go) and then I will have to suffer in silence because the move would be all my fault.
10. I love my husband and kids but I always wonder what could have been. I am torn between the "I am so happy, I have everything I always wanted" and the "I missed out on so much because I had all of this by 16".. who knows?
11. I think not being able to support yourself financially is a horrible thing. I HATE being dependent on someone else.

Some of my best childhood memories are of my grandparents picking me up from school when I was sick, bringing me back to their apartment and making me drink gallons of Gingerale while watching the price is right..(did you ever see Big Fat Greek wedding with the Dad and the Windex? Well my name is Kathy and I'm 33 yrs old. I am married to a wonderful husband for 10yrs in october but have been together for 15 yrs we have 1 son Zachery and he is 14 and we had him when we were seniors in high school. Yes I finished school missing only 15 days of school that year and graduated with straight a's and a business diploma.
We live in a very small town in Northern Virginia called The Plains. We live in horse country. I am a cafeteria managers for Loudoun County Public Schools and my husband works on a 3200 acre farm and is in Charge of the cattle herd and the artificial breading they do.
We have 1 adopted golden retriever/shephard mix that is 11 months old named Drake and 1 very fat cat named Maryanne and she was given to us.
We love the outdoors so right now winter time is killing us. We like to fish, boat, canoe, kayak, hike anything outside. My husband and son love goose hunting and deer hunting but when they do that I have a nice peaceful day to myself to shop or do nothing. I also love to garden so i plant a big veggie garden in the summer.
I need to coupon/refund more then I do but I just dont.

I'm in my 40's, been married 22 years to a wonderful man. He is a computer programmer and works from home, and I am a stay at home mom. I have two boys ages 10 and 14. My 14 year old is in band and has lots of band activities I have to take him to. My younger son and DH are taking guitar lessons together, maybe someday they'll all be a band. I am totally unmusical, can't carry a note or anything. The boys are also taking martial arts classes two days a week.
I live in MI, a suburb north of Detroit. Have lived in MI all my life and am only 2 miles from my parent's house where I grew up. I see them quite often. I have two brothers who both live in the area too, and my DH has 1 sister and 3 brothers here in MI, and his parents live in Florida.
I have two dogs, a sheltie named Casey and a Jackapoo named Spike. They're older dogs, 9 and 10 years, but still very active.
I love to read, especially mysteries and science fiction. I also love to shop and listen to music. We like to play cards and have regular card parties with a group of friends and family.

I am a transplant from Massachusetts and have lived in Florida since 1974. Back in '74 my hubby interviewed for a job at Tropicana, got it and we had two weeks to pack and move here! We live in Bradenton, on the west coast between Tampa and Sarasota. He is no longer with Tropicana and instead is with a large lumber company. Unfortunately business isn't what it used to be with the decline in building, so he fears lay-offs and store closings now. His job isn't easy...he's credit manager...you know, the one who collects money!!!

My name is Melissa, I'm 34 years old, and I live in an itty bitty town in Northern California. I live in the middle of a National Forest on the side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains (not what people expect of California).. It is absolutely beautiful here! If you like the outdoors this is the place to be.. There is amazing skiing/snowboarding in the winter and awesome places to hike, bike, raft and climb in the summer. Too bad I'm not a huge outdoorsy fan ... My heels sink in the snow lol.
I've lived in CA all my life but did a brief stint in Oklahoma. I have 6 brothers and I am the only girl born into my dads side of the family (until my girls)... I have 3 kids... DD12 (whos really my niece and autistic), DD9 and DS4. I've been married to my dh for 12 years.

My name is Susan, and I'm in my late twenties.
I grew up in Maryland, which is where I'm currently living. I help look after my grandmother who is thankfully still mostly independent, but needs someone to keep up with her doctor's appointments, finances, etc.
I'm self-employed as a bridge teacher. (Yep, the card game.) These days I teach primarily online; I also write lesson materials which other teachers use in their own local classes.
I've been with my dbf, Alex, for close to two years. He's a software engineer. We met in highschool and almost started dating then, but for some reason never did. Well, it took us ten years, but better late than never! He's very tolerant of my couponing hobby/addiction and will even come to the grocery store or CVS with me when I need to do a bunch of transactions (or buy more than one cart full of stuff ), so I consider myself extremely lucky on that front.
I'm a pretty serious couponer and bargain hunter. I think of it both as a hobby and also as a way to contribute to my family and community (I donate as much as I can to the local food pantry).
As far as non-couponing pastimes go, I enjoy cooking and am pretty fearless about tackling home repairs / DIY projects.
I'm very glad that I found RS, not just for the coupons but also for the wonderful supportive environment and sense of community.

My name is Cathie and I am 52 (I can't believe it!!) and I live in NJ. Will be married to my Darling DH Julio, 8 years in May. He is not my first husband, LOL, and three times is really the charm! : )(I was NOT going with 3 strikes, you're out) I have 1 daughter, Amy and 1 grandson, Anthony, who is 2 and incredibly handsome! We also have 1 grandaughter, Vanessa, from my wonderful step-son who is 8 and a half months old and the sweetest little thing.
I have no pets now, we had Mackie a Field spaniel and Clemmy, a gorgeous little lop eared bunny but they are waiting for me at the Rainbow bridge. I am still having a difficult time adjusting to life without them, my heart still aches.
DH and I work together, it is where we met and we work 6 days a week, most days about 12 hours. I am the floor manager of a restaurant and also bartender and server. I love my job and the people I work for, they treat me like I am part of their family, I KNOW that I am fortunate.
I have about 1 bazillion friends, LOL, but none that I can really "hang" with because of the time I spend working. Fortunately, I work in my hometown, so they stop to see me a lot. Funny though, how the friends that I have made here are really my very closest friends now. Everyone rallies around when someone is in trouble and i just love that! I lost my best friend almost 8 years ago. We were best friends since we were 13. I have no idea why she took her life and I guess I will never know, I miss her badly.
I like to read, knit, crochet, scrapbook and am newly into cardmaking- I like that a lot but since it is new for me, they still look like I am clueless.
I love to use coupons and refund though I seem to burn out a lot, at least lately. I have some terrific stockpiles that I save to give to Amy to help her out. DH and I mostly eat at the restaurant, since i don't have to cook much anymore, I don't really enjoy it when i have to.
My DH is a huge practical joker, jumps out of closets when I think he is not home, scares me to death sometimes but we have a lot of fun together. I just love it when we dance at home, we do that a lot.
My favorite mantra is "Today is going to be a great day, a miracle is going to happen". When I remember to think it to myself, I usually get in a pretty good mood. I figure if you get thru the day and it wasn't so bad, that IS the miracle and it WAS a great day!! The other is "Nothing positive will come from being negative and nothing negative will come from being positive"
I also like to ramble on, LOL!!!

named after my wonderful oh so old lab/chesapeake bay retriever.....he keeps on ticking everytime we think he is not going to-is 13 1/2. We also have our little black princess named Dixie who rocks as a soccer player-Kristy tried to steal her when she met her.
Am 43 married to a younger man (Bill) who i met on a bar stool...we have been married since 1994 and have had some serious ups and downs but have been doing pretty good for a while now-everyonce in a while he is incredibly stupid and i am ready to leave before i kill him....he drove me nuts a few weeks ago when he had 2 different viruses at once-I actually asked the drs office to put him to sleep or i would ask the vet to do it....
the dogs are our kids(can't ya tell?) and they do run our schedules and lives...
we live about 45 min east of philly and 45 min west of ac give or take-in a small nj town...anyone that comes from philly to go to wildwood or cape may has to pass thru our town, and actually passes our street....the only businesses in our town are the post office, the cycle shop and the bait and tackle, unless it is summer then the produce market is open...
I work, and have worked for 20 years, at shoprite-great group of owners to work for...i have 5 more years of retail experience at least. I also have a k-12 phys ed degree that i choose not to use, cause i realized that i did not wish to raise other peoples children. It seemed to me that people were starting to expect schools to do it for them around here. I love my job and you never know where you will find me in the store-today i did courtesy, podium, and register,.....I am a 40 +hr a week person who appreciates the benefits(both health, and coupons)....know some awesome vendors with some great goodies...and some stingy ones too...
DH just had knee surgery and then he heads to unemployment. He hauled sand and gravel when we met, has been a transportation manager/dispatcher for 7 yrs or so....we are fortunate enuf that we try like heck to avoid debt...house will be paid for in 2012, and both vehicles are halfway there...
My mom passed in 2000, and dad lives close enuf to push all my buttons on a regular basis..my mil can do the same as well....Have 3 living brothers, 2 of which we talk to...one chose to exclude the bulk of the family....I adore my niece and nephews that live close by-spend as much time with them as i can, and always let em raid my stockpiles....
I have 1 huge yard sale in may and do well....sell to several people on this board as well....Love chatting with the awesome people i have met on the board....think nothing of picking up the phone and calling them.....Donna is a whoot to chat with, and Kristy might as well be on speed dial...The best thing about this board is while we all have different opinions....we generally have each others back in times of need...I learned this last year with all the awesome support when i found my cancer....it meant a lot to get the emails, and have people simply say how are you, and mean it....Jodie

Hey Jodie just bought a new pair, number 34 in my closet, these have 5 in. heels, want to borrow them??? Wearing them Sat. night when I go dancing!!! HAHA!!!
