Octuplet Mom Accepting Online Donations of Cash & Credit Card

The Nadya Suleman Family Web site provides a PayPal link for donations from the public, plus a street address to mail in money and items, care of Suleman's publicists.
Established on Tuesday afternoon by husband-and-wife reps Joann Killeen and Mike Furtney, who are working for free for the controversial Suleman (who is receiving food stamps and other public assistance), the site also has photos of the six boys and two girls as well as a page to send comments.
The reps wouldn't say how much money has come in so far, but that Suleman already has received offers for baby clothes and cribs – as well as offers of donations for her older six children. (source www.people.com)
My thoughts are that you make your bed you lie in it. I am twice divorced with 4 kids and it has not been pretty. No one has EVER helped me out. SHe wanted the large family now she needs to deal with it and not ask for donations. JMO.
What makes her think that if those children are not properly provided for that they will be taken away. We just recently had a family in our community that had 8 of their own children (parents are 45-47 yrs old) then they foster adopted 10 other kids then the mom just recently had another of her own AND one of the foster adopted girls had a child AND a friend of one of the foster adopted kids had a child and this family took it in too. So there was a total of 23 people living in a 3 bedroom house, it was not tidy, some kids were homeschool, some sent to our public school, kids would come to school not dressed weather appropriate (including no socks) anyway just recently EVERY child in the home was taken away! I have heard that their own children have since been able to return home but have not returned to public school. Now I do not know what lead up to this but come on you can not possibly provide and care for that many kids, and if you do have a job you could not afford the daycare costs. In these darn times it is not possible. Again JMO

On the show last night it was said that she previously worked in a pshyc ward administering meds & patient care. There was a "riot" & she was told to go help out and a couch was tossed on top of her is how she got a back injury therefore received $165,000 for disability. She then divorced her husband which they had no kids at the time. She worked double shifts and saved every penny, her friends would asked what is she saving for a house, a car and she would say "No, babies". When she got hurt and the disability she quit working also. She claims every procedure cost $10,000 ( I beg to differ because I have a friend who did this "procedure" twice to get 1 child and the total cost to them was $60,000). She denied getting any public assistance. She said she used up her $165,000 in disability for her previous 6 kids "procedures" and raising them along with student loan monies she received. She claims she is now broke. Then at the very end of the interview you can tell they added in another segment where she admits to receiving food stamps AND she gets disability checks for 3 out of her previous kids. She says 1 has a speech problem, 1 has ADD and the youngest has autism. OK I did not know you could get disability for speech or ADD, hmmmm, anyway she said that for those 2 she is expecting the disability to end soon (these were only temporary) but for the autism child he will continue for sometime. She also claims that the food stamps will be ending soon as soon as she is done with her schooling. So is her schooling FREE too AND she also got to take out student loans just to use on bills, another hmmmm. They also had pictures of her before children and her nose & lips did not look like they do now so they asked her about it, if she had cosmetic surgery and she said no, but on the news tonight I thought I heard that this is a lie too.

to begin with and sure not thinking about how she will provide for these 8 new arrivals..I myself would have loved to had more than 1 child, but being a single mom and raising one alone with no help from anyone was tough enough. So I put my 1 and only child first and would not have been fair on him nor another child to have another one...Just was'nt in the cards for me to have more kiddos and I am okay with that, my child always had food and clothing and that is what matters, that he was taken care of..
