I finished up the cloth art case over a week ago and now put it away to save for next x-mas..I am now pondering what to make this month to donate.hmmm..how are you doing on your project?

LOL, I am behind! I actually said to Amy last night that we should make a pact to make each other something for Christmas this year. She groaned but I threw out to her maybe a scrapbook for me of Anthony's second year! Since he turned 2 last month, she already has some pics. She liked that and since I cannot find my scrapbook of Mackie (I have searched everywhere) she figured she might do one of those for me. : ) I have been making greeting cards lately and am going to do a pack up for her, LOL, I am getting better at it.

I'm sorry to hear Macks album is still misplaced, it's bound to show up and hope you can find it soon..look in a place where you would never think to leave it..I set stuff down when I clean and shows up in the oddest places..That is a great idea for you & amy and love the scrapbook idea!..Your cards I know will be very pretty and amy will love them!!!

Cathie and I have a pact, we have a craft challenge going our goal is to create 1 item a month so we have items to donate to for Shellys secret santa for next year, anyone is welcome to join us in our challenge and you can make/create whatever you want, it does'nt have to be something expensive to make, just fun and practical.. This way for sure children will get x-mas presents, and it is fun to motivate eachother for this great cause.

Made a "on the go" container recycled a 2 liter pop bottle crochet the top with drawstring closure, to store small toys in for car trips,put a pocket on the front which holds a monkey finger puppet..lol!!...and made 2 crayon holders, recycled vo5 shampoo bottles and crochet the tops with drawstring closure. They came out cute!! will send ya pics asap..I have'nt made the crayon holders since I was teen, was very cool to make again...and the pop bottle idea I just winged it up as I went along.
** I will work on more of the "on the go" containers this month, I have 5 cleaned out bottles sitting here waiting to be turned into kiddo items..

I found yarn in my stash that comes really close to the same colors as the finger puppets, which is cool! running out to cvs now, but when I get back will send ya a pic of 2 completed so far.
