Also I was disappointed as thought she'd give more info, like shopping at sara lee outlets or hostess outlets for bread and such for way less than the store..And doing tmf offers for food etc...does'nt sound like she does refunding, or cvs or walgreens deals...for those who don't know how to do all this they missed out on info we have all learned along the way..she only mentioned stocking up on meat when on sale, many of us have other items like hba etc.. stockpiled where we get it free or cheap when on sale, she missed key points like remembering to also get rain checks for sale items that stores are out of..For someone new at doing this, these are all things they need to know...

** I have pondered for the last 2 months about doing a group at a local library to help others, but don't know honestly if my time would be worth it and appriciated...some people just don't want to be thrifty..

4|1|I completely agree...I wasn't impressed by any of the "tips" they gave....|kellysp6637|frugalk76@aol.com|17:38:20|02/04/2009|

as for the couple that the thrify couple helped....it seems to me like they just needed a good dose of common sense...I mean seriously,,,,who spends $650 on clothes and games for their children every month??? That's ridiculous!

Frankly,,,,anyone of us could have done a better job on Oprah revealing our tips on how we save..... 5|2|yeah, I thought that too, who spends over $600 on their kids every month? just wasteful spending and they sure are'nt teaching their children|HONEY11|HONEY1@AMERITECH.NET|17:50:31|02/04/2009|

anything good by doing that...sure we all like to spoil are kids from time to time and get something they want, but it is'nt every month and sure is'nt even close to $600 bucks, shoot I don't even spend that much on my 1 child in a whole year.
