thermal ablation

Did it work? I being told this could be an option for me instead of a hysterotomoy.

Anyone know anything about it?

thanks for any information. 1|1|Shelly just had ablation surgery on Friday~*~|RebekkaVA|queen_vulture@msn.com|14:55:34|02/02/2009|

....great! Sorry, just very behind in things...haven't been posting and behind on emails as well. trying to job hunt, so don't have as much time for extras anymore.

my surgery went fantastic! mine was where they burned the lining, and i also had a D & C as well as the histroscope, or something along those lines. Anyway, I woke after only 10 minutes in the post-op room, and had no nausea, nothing. Had a bit of pain initially, which they treated in post-op and then 1 hr. later i was in the recovery room, joined by my hubby.

He said I looked so good that one wouldn't believe I'd even had a procedure done!! lol

came home, never even took ONE pain pill, no Motrin, nothing, didn't have any cramping!!! Have had discharge and bleeding, though pretty light, post-surgery, which is what they tell you to expect for anywhere from 1-4 wks. have my follow-up w/my GYN late Feb.

I highly recommend the procedure...I'm crossing my fingers that it does the trick for me!
