I just had an e-mail from Melvina and she wanted me to let everyone know that she is OK due to the ice storm
They are staying at her brother-in-laws trailer and he has a kerosene heater and better insulation so they are not as cold and she is able to keep her animals with her.
She is not able to get on the boards from there but she misses the boards and her friends and will be in touch as soon as she gets back home.
She lives in the part of KY where they have called in the National Guard

Hello everyone. Still no power, no phone, no usable water, no heat at my house. staying at my brother in laws. It is warm at least. they are now saying that it may be up to 6 weeks before we all get power. trees are still falling where i live. they are on the main road and are making a progress of about 2 miles a day with all the poles they have to replace. i miss everyone and hope to get back sooner than 6 weeks. please email me just to say hi. i will check my emails every other day to reply.
