On Monday Dave got his 2nd chemo treatment and they gave him a different anti-nausea medicine via IV when seemed to help. He wasn't as sick after this treatment as he was after the last one. They were able to use the port in his chest with no problem which made it so much easier for him
However - his red blood cell count is way too low. So tomorrow he is getting a blood transfusion. They are not sure if he will get one pint or two...it just depends on the blood work after the first pint. Supposedly once he gets the transfusion he should get back some of his energy which would be great. Thank you for keeping checking in on us, it is really appreciated.

sure hope your hubby feels better,i was gone from the board for a
long while and don't know what's going on with everybody and their
families,i do hope the blood transfusion helps him to feel better,
i will keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers
