As you know, its really hard right now so people don't have much money to spend, but here's some ideas:

Avon: $10 to start, people need HBA and Avon's pretty good quality.

After-school childcare: Great if you live near a school. If you only watch kids from one family you may not need a licence (check with local authorities). You can offer pick up from school, healthy snack, and homework help. You could charge upwards of $15 per afternoon ($20 if your area would warrant it). Advertise with fliers put up near school, at school or Craigslist.

Tutoring: Elementary level math and reading are in high demand. Get a book on tutoring to see what's expected. You can charge upwards of $25 hour.

Not from home, but:

Community Services District (enrichment classes): What can you do WELL? Knit, scrapbook, dance? You can approach the CSD in your area and inquire about teaching a class. You would have to use their facilities but you can set your class times to your descretion, such as Saturdays or evenings. You don't have to have a degree or be a professional in your subject but have enough experience that you can substantiate with the CSD. Some ideas for classes that are taught locally:

*Preschool art *Preschool cookie decorating *Princess Tea Party *Teen Knitting *Kids Scrapbooking *Kids Can Quilt

Hope this gives you some ideas!
