1 0|0|Want to guess how much it costs to get a toy out of a tub drain???|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|20:26:28|01/27/2009|

My son's little toy went down our tub drain and the tub doesn't drain very quickly... so we had the plumber come out. Turns out he has to open the back of the wall in our master bath to get to it.... cost $700... so they come out and open the back only to find the trap they are trying to get to in order to unclog the tub is covered in cement!

New plan is to dig from the outside, under the house to get to the cement, so they can jack hammer it and get to the drain! Cost $1900!!!!

So I now have a $1900 repair because of a little barrel toy!

This in addition to my sons $1,000 worth of dental work scheduled for Thursday, the $175 doctors appointment and the $175 prescription (I have 3 more to fill!)

When it rains it pours!
