Im new to the whole DSL thing. Are the lights on your modem the ones for ethernet and internet supposed to blink on and off. Mine dont do it all the time but they do blink sometime. Are they supposed to do that or am i having issues with it, lol

if any are red you need to call them
but if your tv,internet or phone are ok and they are blinking that is not a problem
if any service interruption then you call
and become another frustrated customer lol 2|1|Yeah, mine blink too.....but always stay green to indicate the connection is good :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|10:29:45|01/24/2009|

4|1|If it ever acts goofy booting you all the time you may need to reset it by unplugging the power to it for 30 sec then rebooting..|Kristy|mi3zons1@yahoo.com|10:54:04|01/24/2009|

Sometimes it blinks and sometimes it stays steady (although it never stays steady for long)....seems like when I'm actually doing something on the internet is when it blinks the most; when the computer is idle, it doesn't do it as much.

Like Kristy said, if you can't get a connection (like if you start it up in the morning and it doesn't go to your homepage, just kind of stays blank or if it seems to freeze up), just turn the router off for a minute to reset it and then turn it back on. No need to unplug, just turn it off with the button that is usually in the back.
