I HATE water. In just about any form. And now my moderately new picture window (2 years) is leaking. I have pots all along the windowsill. I can't stand it. Told my DH this morning that the ONLY thing keeping me in this house is that in this economy there is NO WAY we could get any money for it. I'm so depressed. Just totally depressed. Water in the basement; water in the window. OMG!!! 1|1|Hang in there Robin! There have to be better days ahead!!|missy|lovetotrade@hotmail.com|09:14:02|01/23/2009|

I can totally understand your frustration and depression. Just remember things are tough all over. At least you HAVE a house. I do hope that you can find the source of the problem and get it fixed before any permanent damage is done.
You're in my prayers.

I can relate as we had some water in our basement last year that was muddy so I had streaks of mud to try to mop up. YUCK! Better not have that again this year or I will flip out!

As far as your window leaking though. I would think if the window itself is leaking, the company making it should stand behind it. And if it leaking around it- like an installation issue- you should prob have it fixed. Some friends had a window leak around it and it ended up running behind their wall from their upstairs bedroom to the downstairs window below it. Ruined the wallboard including gross mildew and mold and had to replace that. Maybe your hubby could pop up the trim and add that spray caulk stuff to seal it up?

Good luck! I know I hate when stuff goes wrong on things...drives me nuts!
