Don't chuck those items that have been recalled without trying to take them back to the store first or calling the manufacturer.
I found today I had 20 Zone Perfect Bars that were on the recall list after reading todays newspaper. I checked the Zone Perfect site and found a telephone number to call about the recalled items. I asked if I should I take them back to the store or were they going to offer replacement coupons. She said no just read me the numbers on all them and so she could verify and then offered me $1.50 each and said she would put in a request for a check! YEAH ME!
So before your dump your recalled PB items either check with the company or store for a refund or coupon for replacement.
