Hi all~
It has been FOREVER since I have even had the time to come to this site. I have missed SO MUCH and I have missed all of you. I have really had a lot of ups and downs in the past few months including the Children's Day Out that I work for is currently closed. We had an asbestos scare in our old church and to avoid lawsuit, we closed down. Good news is that on April 7th we will re-open. We are hoping that by August I will be able to go full-time with this job. We have grown from 11 to 33 children this year. We are hoping for even more new growth with the new church. We are also going to start a new after school program in the Fall. I stay very busy with the other aspects of this church. This is my passion and so it is work but also my calling.
Everyone is doing pretty well. Angel continues to have a lot of problems. I am trying to find an appropriate group home/residential treatment center for her to live in. Unfortunately, privately placed kids are the last ones to be accepted. Will is growing like crazy. He will be 3 in April. He is a smart one! Knows and recognizes all his ABC's and numbers, counts to 15 in English and Spanish. He puts puzzles together that are for 7 year olds. He is truly my joy in life.
I miss being able to trade with everyone. Right now, I don't even know where to start. This should be when I am working the hardest on it but I just don't seem to have the time. I have a wonderful anonymous trader who is sending me tons of CLFE for the CDO. I am keeping busy getting those ready to send in. We are trying to get a laminator and it takes 105,000 points. Nothing like having lofty ambitions!
It was great to see my name and actually have people wonder where I have been. Thank you!
