oh man, it seems to NEVER end! just when you THINK you're out of the woods something else ALWAYS comes up! ugh! it's just so darned frustrating! just when i THOUGHT we were getting a handle on things again here's comes another $250 bill! i had NO CLUE we were going to be hit with this at all! AND they want it by the 29th. i'm like nope, can't do it, you're gonna HAVE to wait until the 9th because there is just no way on god's green earth i caa pay it before then. kwim?
is anyone else here just, plain, flat out, SICK of unexpected bills????

I just LOOOVE the bills that come in eight or nine months AFTER one of my kids has been to the doctors......
In March of 2008, Devon was in the hospital for an extreme asthma episode.....he is covered under 2 medical insurances (by my ex husband and also my current husband's plan) and do you know neither has paid because they are fighting who should pay it????? Total BS.....Anyway,,,just got a bill for over $1500 because of their nonsense....ofcourse talked to my pediatrician and they know and have resubmitted the bill...I think I've gotten it all straightened out but seriously.......two different people paying an arm and a leg for healthcare and insurance and they won't pay up....I'm soooo steamed! 9|1|YEP, need $1700 to cover extras & deductable on hail damage to my roof & siding|pumamomma|pumamomma@yahoo.com|19:17:32|01/20/2009|

We got new insurance last summer and they raised the deductible to $5000, so I am paying a ton of bills. My freezer broke, I had to get a new car and the payments were over twice the old lease I had, my dryer died and I had to get a new one, my mom's stove died and my SIL and I bought her a new one as her Christmas gift and now my furnace has died. Thank goodness it waited til AFTER the below zero weather, it's back up in the 20s and we have a fireplace and lots of heaters going til my SIL's uncle can come out and replace it. The furnace is over 30 years old and can't be fixed, so we need the whole thing. Knew that was going to come but was hoping to have saved up for it, but all these other darn bills have wiped out that fund.

Especially if they know you're not mechanically knowledgeable. Fix one thing & trash another, so you have to keep bringing your vehicle back for MORE repairs. Or nickel & dime you to death "fixing" everything BUT what the real problem is so you have to going back. Got some doctors around here who do the same thing, literally defining the term "practice".
