Just wondering we live just about 45 mins from d.c but we are not going. All the roads and bridges going into dc will be shut down and they are telling everyone to stay home tomorrow. I dont have to work tomorrow because the school is closed buy the county that we live in has school so my son will have school. Its going to be a nightmare around here starting today.

not for any reason other than the crowds. wow! i cna't even IMAGINE how many people will be trying to get an "eye-ful" and i would have no part of it! i don't blame you one bit for not going!

when we had the superbowl here in jax, ugh, it was HORRIBLE! i couldn't IMAGINE the traffic, the noise, the crowds for an inauguration!

I agree with most...the best seat is probably here at home in front of the tv. I am optimistic and hopeful about the next 4 years...that's the best way to be, right?!

I will be watchign on tv tomorrow...shoot, there won't be anything else on!!

The local news station came to film the after thoughts of our fifth grade classes. I left early but I was so proud of our school. My phone rang a million times today.....family and friends calling left and right...hope everyone enjoyed it as much as my family ....how so many choose to ignore this historic event is beyond me.......

Let me start off by saying hello to everyone because I'm new here. I don't want to just jump right in without doing so.

I remember watching Clintons inaguration, but was multitasking at the same time. I watched the entire inaguration and flipped through channels to see who had the best camera angles and commentary. 12|1|I normally don't have much interest in these types of things but......|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|19:52:18|01/21/2009|

I have to admit I've paid alot more attention this past year & tried to watch as much of the inauguration as possible. A change in the economy & how our country is run is of the utmost importance w/out a doubt, but I also wanted to make sure I didn't miss too much of what is an integral change in our country's history. I got a little weepy thinking about how awesome it is that we've come this far, hoping that these changes will be positive & beneficial to ALL of us. :)

Happy New Year!
