Does anyone know the real reason Grissom left the show? It was supposed to be on the news that night after his last show but I forgot to watch it and I thought someone here might have heard why he actually left. On the show itself, his character evidently decided it was simply time to leave & w/Lawrence Fishburne's character appearing as that professor, Grissom felt he would be the perfect choice to fill his shoes in the CSI biz. As for real life William Petersen leaving, I couldn't remember so did a search & found the below link. HTH. :)

Yea, if I got bored, I sure wish I had that luxury option. LOL
But he is a really good actor & I'm going to miss him on CSI. :( He's not bad to look at either. ;)
