Dh swears I have gnomes thave live under my desk. They gather misc. dropped coupons, expireds, and pretty much anything they can find to pad their dwelling. Now and then they mysteriously appear in other areas of the house. It's so bad last year when Target had a clearance sale on summer things my dh bought me a gnome for my desk.. now if only I knew where he was ROFL

He invited HIS friends over for MY birthday-----so I spent the 3 days BEFORE it cleaning and organizing stockpiles so they could at least SIT on the couches!!!

I try and I try and I have more stuff! It's everywhere! Not a dirty mess, but cluttered mess with piles of paperwork, coupons and stuff piled on tables and counters! I finally clean a room which takes all day and the kids come right behind me a tear it apart again. I have ebay stuff in boxes, stuff the kids have grown out of... my one car garage is so full you can't get a person in it, let alone a car! I can't walk from the front to the back of my garage!
My son can't get to his computer in his room, his room is knee deep in toys and clean clothes which he refuses to leave in the drawers!
UGH!
We are having a garage sale in a couple of weeks and all I have is about 7 or 8 storage bins full of stuff! Which doesn't seem like much!
I've taken to have the kids go into their rooms and find 3 toys they don't play with and bring them to me for the garage sale a couple times a eek and it doesn't make a dent! Hubby is a pack rat and doesn't get rid of anything! So he's not much help. He has an entire dresser full of t-shirts! And we have baskets of clothes that could actually go in those drawers!
