I have heard that a film develops but I think they meant it that it has a layer of film on the top of the homemade detergent but if you shake it up, it remixes fine for that use. Like it separates? But I could be wrong! 6|5|People state it leaves a soap film buildup over time on clothes, expecially if you have hard water, also some state your white clothes will start turning a grayish tinge|HONEY11|HONEY1@AMERITECH.NET|23:26:54|01/12/2009|

if you have hard water. I was gonna try to make my own years ago, but did'nt as we have hard water here. But possibly for those who have soft water it may work out fine for..

Thanks,

depending on the size of the load, when I put in detergent I also put in the vinegar, regular white distilled and it had never smelled up the laundry and actually if I have a small load and use the vinegar I do not need dryer sheets in the dryer, I notice if I have a lot of clothes I will get static even using vinegar but I love using vinegar in the wash machine, it also makes the clothes a bit softer, i guess from helping prevent the hard water damage?
