One was breastfed only so he wanted to eat alot more often than my older who used formula, but they never had a set schedule just ate around certain specific times and as long as I knew they were healthy and not getting to chunky I pretty much fed them when they wanted (they never wanted to eat all the time and if it got really crazy I would not have just fed them, I would not have been the mom you see on Maury with her 100 pound 2 year old LOL), now they are both skinny things and eat perfectly fine and normal (as long as there is ketchup with whatever it is, yuk) ,I think they just hit growth spurts and stuff like that and may want to eat more, and they are little babies who are still getting used to the world and figuring out how to adjust?

we just had a Dr. appt and he said it was normal. 4|1|My boys ate about every 2 hrs too at that age range....boy that was fun with twins who would not get on the same schedule! LOL I did breastfeed, but with two of them it wasnt enough, so I supplemented with formula feedings....I did increase their amounts for each feeding by 1/4 oz when they wouldnt last the two hours...for example if they were at 5 oz, I would give them 5 1/4 oz to see if that would tide them over, and if not I would increase it by another 1/4 oz a couple days later....Marlena could call the peditrician and ask if that would be acceptable to try :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|11:17:19|01/12/2009|

I'm betting that he is going through a growth spurt because whenever they do that they will change their feeding patterns a bit to adjust for what they need. Wic will check the little man out and make sure that he is healthy and then I bet they will tell her to feed him as needed, or at least I hope they will. I remember Gracie had many times when she ate more than what we thought was "normal" for her and then it just all balanced out.

I'm waiting to hear what he weighs now last time he was at 12lb 4oz He has a about a month and a half and he can start cereal How fun that will be lol

With my stupid eye sight I can't see the color of his eyes but I know they are blue lol His Mom ahs large eyes and my sons are blue My Dad had blue as well I am really surprised with the darkness of his Moms eyes he got the blue
They didn't weigh him yesterday only got a shot and oral vacines Mike said that he liked the oral stuff and was licking his lips after he got the cherry tylenol lol

Here's a guide (the time is from the start of one bottle to the start of the next):
up to 1mo 2-3oz every 2-3 hrs about 8-12 feedings
2 mos 2-4oz every 3-4hrs about 6-8 feedings
3 mos 3-5oz every 4-5hrs about 5-6 feedings
4 mos 4-6oz every 4-5hrs about 5 feedings
5 mos 5-7oz every 4-5hrs about 5 feedings
6 mos 6-8oz every 4-6hrs about 5 feedings
Some doctors wait until babies are 4-6mos to start on cereal. Others say that when they are taking 32oz a day and still hungry (which is what I think).
Mine doesn't know when to stop. lol At 1 1/2 mo she drank 8oz at a time! The doctor told me I was over feeding her and if she was hungry in between to give her 1oz juice to 3oz water or just water. I didn't like that, so I didn't give her juice or water. Then the next time I was told I was underfeeding her. I decided to do like the other doctor told me to do with my other one, give them as much as they want. She's happy & healthy. Mine's almost 3 1/2 mos and has been drinking 8oz or close to it every 4 hours 4x day, sometimes just 3x day and sometimes will go 5 hours between the next to last and last feeding. They're all different.

Dylan went thought that stage , No matter how much he ate or how often he was still hungry(At 3 months he was eating evrey 2 hours , sometimes more often than that) , His Doc Said to try adding a Scoop of Rice Cereal to his bottle and that worked for him. He went to Eating Every 3 - 4 hours . And Now he 7 months old and Eats about 6 Ounces per Bottle every 4 -6 Hours. Now that He starting On Jar food , We have cut his rice in half and he is doing really well , He still getting the hang of the Jar foods So he eats about half a jar Before his bottle(With being 10 weeks early , hes a bit delayed so He didnt start with jar foods until he was 6 1/2 months). He is a Plump 21 lbs now and 31 inches long (It hard to Believe he was once 3 lbs and 16.5 inches)
Each Baby is Different , You may have to try a few things to find what works best for you.
