Dave had his first chemo treatment last Monday. He is still not feeling that great. Today he had outpatient surgery to put a port in. Every time they take blood and when they give him a chemo treatment...they can't find his veins. So he needs to be "pinched" several times. With the port - that will eliminate that problem.

I think the ports are easier with chemo patients, Will got one in 07, cause they said it would be so much better to access his port for blood plus do the chemo in it too. Give Dave a big hug from us, and please keep me posted on how he's doing. Hugs, Rebekka

Debbie always thinking about you my husband had his last chemo the other day and yes after the third
or forth day he will get sick and very weak but he will get better there is light at the end of the tunnel
Just keep reminding hinm that for he won't be able to see it And be strong for him but mainly for yourself
its a long haul I keep saying to Mel (my husband) it's only a season your going thru Think of it that way
It did and still does help him when I say that. Take time for yourself too These group of ladies right here
are wonderful they help me very much just by being there and they are there for you

He is doing better I want to say everday its gets better its still a long road For right now he's able to talk alttle not much so so many sores in his mouth But this is a season thanks 6|4|All of you have been there with love and support and prayers for Will and no need to Thank me for support or prayers, they come from my heart and I just pray that our hubby's get rid of this nasty cancer and they are all well again (((HUGS)))~*|RebekkaVA|queen_vulture@msn.com|23:14:52|01/13/2009|
