I have a document in Microsoft Works Word Processor that is just barely 2 pages and I want to squeeze it onto one page. There is a way to do this but I can't remember how! I have adjusted the side margins but can't seem to adjust the top and bottom. Can someone enlighten me????

TIA for any help
~Susan 1|1|Top and bottom margins can be adjusted in the "Page Setup".....not sure where that's found, but try the drop down menu under "File" in the toolbar....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|11:24:07|01/11/2009|

after you click on print make it print on one page? shrink to fit?

I think the smallest you can make the top and bottom margins in the print setup is .766? 3|1|You could try downsizing the font size... (m)|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|11:29:36|01/11/2009|

W/the document open, press Ctrl+A (at the same time) on your keyboard, to highlight the entire document. Then look up at the top toolbars & there should be a box w/a number in it (usually 12). Click on the little arrow next to that number & select a lower number. Of course you don't want it too small so it's hard to read, but if the number is 12, you can try selecting 11 or even 10, as long as it's still large enough to read. You can always re-enlarge it when working on it, reducing it again when done. HTH. ;)

I was able to get it on one page by decreasing the Header and Footer margins and the font size.
I was hoping I had a "Shrink to size" option but I didn't. I had that option on my previous computer which ran XP and had Microsoft Office/Word, and that was what I was looking for. Unfortunately it crashed and self destructed!!!
I run Vista now and it came with Microsoft Works and I'm not too pleased with it.

Thanks again for your help....everyone is always so willing to help!
