What were the actual "terms" stated in the trade?

If they asked for the postage as part of the deal then asking you for a SASE wouldn't be that much different than just asking for the stamp and also saying that the "payment arrive" before mailing the trade. I just see that as an easier way for them to identify who they were to send what to when the payment comes in their mailbox.

Now if they didn't state such in their trade that may be a different case.

I don't have much feedback so I offer to send one along with whatever we are trading for. That way they get their end first so no problems. 4|1|I too did a SASE with a nice lady on here...But|van1|van100@wowway.com|19:25:27|01/09/2009|

I mailed immediately. By the time she got it, there was a week-end, and by the time I got hers, 8 days from start to finish, and I missed a sale...It's okay as long as I'm not doing the last minute hunt, like so many of us are....and she was a good trader...Some of us have been doing couponing for so long, we remember when that the wae ONLY way we did coupon auctions...and for those of us who don't have paypal, we have to clear all trades ahead of time so that the person knows it not gonna be paypal...

Again, she was a good trader....just that SASE leaves you at the mercy of the postal system on both sides of the trade, and the timing just isn't quick enough for a "this week" sale.
